Siding · Charlotte
Cracked, loose, warped or holed siding repaired with matched pieces — and the moisture or damage behind it dealt with.
We start by finding out why the siding failed, then replace only what is damaged and match color and profile as closely as available products allow. If repair will not solve the problem, we tell you plainly and price the alternative in writing.

A cracked panel lets water behind the siding. Repairs should close the wall, not just cover the gap.

Siding gets cracked by impacts, loosened by wind, warped by heat and damaged by woodpeckers and trimmers. Every gap lets water reach the wall behind.
We replace damaged pieces with the closest available match, check the sheathing and barrier behind them, and reseal around openings.
If matching is not possible on a visible wall, we explain the options before we start.
Damaged pieces replaced and blended in.
Panels refastened and locked back into place.
Heat-warped panels replaced and the cause addressed.
Rotted boards replaced, primed and painted.
Siding Repair guide
Not every damaged wall needs a full replacement. Here is how we decide, what a good repair involves and what it depends on.
Cracked, loose, warped, buckled or missing panels, holes from impacts, gaps at corners and trim, and boards damaged by moisture. Vinyl, fiber cement and wood pieces can usually be replaced individually without touching the rest of the wall.
Damaged siding is often a symptom. Heat reflected from windows or a grill can warp vinyl, panels nailed too tightly buckle, and missing flashing lets water in behind the boards. We look for the cause so the repair does not fail again.
We match the color, profile and material as closely as available products allow. Older or discontinued siding can be hard to match exactly, so we explain the options, such as using original panels from a less visible wall.
If siding is widely cracked, faded or warped, or if there is soft or wet sheathing behind it, patching will only delay the problem. We will tell you plainly when replacement is the better investment.
The number of panels, the material, how easy the wall is to reach and whether the sheathing or trim behind the damage also needs work. Every repair is priced in writing before it starts, and estimates are free.
Even a small crack lets water reach the wall. Repairing it early is cheaper than fixing rotted sheathing and framing later, which is why we recommend having damage looked at soon.

Yes. Damaged fiber cement boards can be replaced individually, and small chips or cracks can often be filled, sealed and painted.
Paint helps faded fiber cement or wood siding that is otherwise sound. It will not fix cracks, warping or water damage, so an inspection first is the safest way to decide.
Many small repairs can be done in a day or less. Larger repairs, or repairs that uncover sheathing damage, take longer, and we let you know before we start.
