Damaged, sagging or rotted soffits repaired or replaced in vinyl, aluminum or wood — vented so the attic can breathe and sealed so animals stay out.
Soffits close in the roof overhang and let the attic breathe. We replace damaged panels, close gaps where birds and insects get in, keep the vents open and look for the leak or rotted fascia that caused the damage in the first place.

Soffits feed air into the attic. Damaged ones let in animals; blocked ones trap moisture.

Soffits close the underside of the roof overhang. When they sag, rot or break, birds, squirrels and insects get into the roof edge.
We repair or replace soffits and make sure vented panels line up with clear airways into the attic, so moisture does not build up.
Usually the cause — a leaking gutter or roof edge — is fixed at the same time.

Vinyl, aluminum or wood soffits replaced.

Soffit Repair guide
Soffits are easy to ignore until something goes wrong. This is what they do, why damage matters and how repairs work.
The soffit closes the underside of the roof overhang. It keeps weather and animals out of the eave and, when vented, lets fresh air into the attic so moisture and heat can escape.
Sagging or missing panels, holes, peeling paint or stains on the underside of the eaves, and signs of birds, squirrels, wasps or other pests. Damage often points to a leak from the roof, gutters or fascia above.
Vented soffits keep an attic breathing, and blocked or painted-over vents can lead to trapped moisture. When we repair soffits, we make sure the vents stay clear and that insulation is not blocking airflow.
Soffit is commonly vinyl, aluminum, wood or fiber cement. We match the existing style where we can and recommend more durable materials where wood has repeatedly rotted.
A repaired soffit will fail again if the leak that damaged it continues. We look for gutter overflow, fascia damage or roof leaks and tell you what needs attention, so you can address it.
Gaps and holes let animals into the eave and attic. We close the openings and can replace damaged panels, though animal removal is a separate job for a wildlife specialist.

If a leaking gutter caused the damage, yes.
Most homes rely on soffit vents to bring fresh air into the attic. If yours are blocked or missing, moisture and heat can build up, so we keep them clear or restore them when we repair the soffit.
Yes. Holes and gaps are common entry points for birds, squirrels and insects. We close and replace damaged panels, but removing animals is a separate job.
Isolated damage can be repaired by replacing individual panels. If a long run is sagging, rotted or repeatedly damaged, replacing it is usually more cost effective.
Often it is. Roof leaks, overflowing gutters and rotted fascia all let water reach the soffit, which is why we check the area above while we are there.
